Tribute to Mr Michelsburg!!

Good evening!

Have I told you this?
A few weeks ago I wrote an English-test, which was very easy, too easy, year-7-level. It's embarrassing we wrote such a test in year 11 (!). Whatever: I made one mistake. Instead of translating materialistic I translated material, one point less... who cares. But the second half point she took me was not justifiable. I set "hasn't been" which was, seen in context, right. But she wanted us to write "isn't". I was sure, my solution was right and I told her so. She just said 'No', I wanted to know, why I couldn't write "hasn't been" and she couldn't say why... and when I recognized that this one half point was missing to get an A (1) in the test, I again went to the teacher, with Caro (she had made the same 'mistake') and we asked her again. Every reason she gave us why our solution was wrong I could invalidate ;). So she said, she wanted to show our tests to another teacher and think about it.
Today she told us: You must have had a reason to write it like you did, so it's okay.

Haha...
Here a big hand-waving Hello to my old teacher 'Mr. Michelsburg'. I really miss your great lessons!! I'm glad I've had you as my English teacher, without you I couldn't write my blog in English!!

Have a nice evening!

Yours,
Chrissy
