You've been lying in bed now for 2 hours and find no sleep. You turn from one side to another, breathe in, breathe out. You open your eyes for the zillionth of time, but it doesn't change anything, because you know as soon as you close them again, the pictures come again. As soon as you close your eyes, the film in the mind's eye appears. And you know if you don't get up and write it down, you're not supposed to find rest.
Inspiration drives people crazy. If you keep her inside, she'll drive you mad. I can promise you.

But if you're lying, you don't have to lie. Remember that. Don't mesure inspiration at crazyness, because if you mesure your inspiration at crazyness, you won't find much. But as you're inspired by God, your crazyness driven crazy gives you inspiration to overcome your crazyness to be inspiration.
