London 4/5

January 1st, 2008, New Year’s Day
Weather: rainy, later cloudy
Song of the day:
Queen – We will rock you

We get up very late… it is actually the same morning we have gone to bed. Our breakfast is lunch… our morning the afternoon. We spend it watching the New Year’s Parade and visiting Buckingham Palace. After that it gets dark. A last shopping tour at Sainsbury’s and a last dinner at Subway follows. We also order our bus tickets and thus we get prepared for our short night: 3.00am leaving the hostel, 3.26am N52 night bus, 4.20am National express to Stansted Airport, 8.00am flight back.
But after the enchanted night there's no sad mood at all. 4 of us (including me) are tending to go to the (as I expect) best musical ever and I’m so very happy I'm going to see it in London - in English. Which musical? Hello?! If you knew me and my favourite music well enough you’d know that the only musical I would ever watch would be WE WILL ROCK YOU! (of course!!).
And I admit I'm not disappointed at all: I am amazed! The musical is gorgeous, good singers, great costumes (those of the cool rocking punks! - God, I loved them), awesome music, great guitars (I love Rock'n Roll!) and a good story. Wow!
We’re home at 11pm.

Story continues...
