Nov,1st - Nov,4th: HH07

Hello everybody!

I feel a little late after a few Rangers have already posted about their Haiks.
But no one has written anything about our legendary trip.
So here it is:

Our journey (the journey of the Orcas/Antilopen/Wallabys) started on Thursday, 1st in the morning. The tube and the bus had taken us to the little city of Oeschelbronn from where we started walking. The 7 younger and the 3 older girls were well prepared of course.

We crossed and passed beautiful forests and luxurious golf courses...

... and the sun was shining all the time.
We even found time to ask a nice walker to take a photo of the girl scouts.

After we had found a great place for staying overnight we played this game where someone sits on your lap asking 'Darling, if you love me smile for me', the other one repeats then 'Darling, you know I love you but I can't smile' (You mustn't smile then!!)... Real good.
The first night we slept outside was the coldest night.

The next morning: foggy sky and cold temperatures, but willing to be faced.
Right before Eutingen we had lunch and a leaves catch.

Walking through Eutingen we recognized that the NORMA store we had wanted to buy our dinner from wasn't exsisting so Miri and I went to the Aunt Emma's Edeka store.

Besides the bland tortellinis this evening of November, 2nd was a very exciting and thrilling evening!

Saturday morning we arrived in Horb am Necker. The view from the viewing platform was very beautiful.

After searching for a suitable place for us to stay (we'd been searching over an hour) we finally found a nice place on a mountainside near our meeting point. (The picture is not the best, sorry!)

Right after arriving we cooked dinner. Very tasty.
This last night we played "Night in Palermo" and we talked about several things that went through our minds.
The next morning Miri, Eve and I woke up at 7.30 am... because the girls were playing Night in Palermo again. Such a great game...

The moment we had started with breakfast the boys arrived. We had a good time together then (we made a lot of photos!) and Benni told us 2 good stories.
We went to the station then and got home again. All tired and... willing to have a shower. :)

It was a great hajk and a real good time we had.
