Strassbourg June/July 2007

Hello dear!

I didn't expect being in France so quickly again. We've just been there last Christmas with the homechurch. Very nice and impressing. Last Saturday/Sunday a few friends decided to go there again. Besides cheeky girls screaming around at 7.15 am (!!) and expensive restaurants we've seen a great African band drumming and singing something like 'seme, seme, seme, ooh seme... semecon', the Council of Europe, the Orangerie park, the old city with its creative street names (e.g. Bruedergass or Krämergass <- I've seen that one on Christmas either), a french McDonald, the river and many toilets of dogs ;). I assert I have seen much more of the city itself and the people than 6 months ago. Here're some impressions:
Daniel and Timo while checking where we are.

Me balancing over the river (which unfortunately can't be seen on this picture)

The council of Europe

Timo with his feet in the river

Chilling...

The studio of arte and a curious man or whatever this is to be

The beautiful park 'Orangerie'

Miri and Daniel, while posing for the cameras :)

A few storks in the park

The noble car we got from the inside

It was a very nice time. Even the way back: Tickeling Timo is so so entertaining, especially for Judith and me.
But because we love Timo, I won't put up the 'Let's tickle Timo'-videos Miri has taken while we attacked him :)

I hope you had a nice weekend as well.
Yours,
Chrissy

My weekend wasn´t that nice at all...
I spend my time "travelling" between toilet and couch. The day was soooo boring. And I was very jealous of you, because I really would like to join you on the small excursion.

Next time, I will be with you!
