Adam and As I Lay Dying

I couldn't believe it:
Dear Adam, greatest punk and best guitar player from school, and I had a quite funny conversation in the tube today. He just didn't believe I would ever listen to anything like As I Lay Dying (a band he absolutely adores). Mentioning that I liked it he thought I was screwing him. [Me...? I would never kid anybody ;)] Whatever. He said he would believe me if I showed him a few songs on my mp3-player. So I got it out of my bag and the moment he asked which album these songs were from and I said: It's 'The sound of truth' and 'This is who we are' from 'An ocean between us' he just stared at me (and believed me) and said: 'But you're kind of a christian... okay, that band is christian metal, too, but how can YOU listen to such music?! Isn't it Gospel you like then?!'

That's exactly why some kids need to hear a little more about music in subject to christianity.
